Mystic, Connecticut - September 26, 2015
September 26, 2015
We left the Cape Cod KOA for our
75 mile trip to Mystic, Connecticut. We
needed to be at the RV Park and set up by noon, because we had a tour of the
Mystic Seaport Museum. This was a living
museum showing the life and living conditions during the whaling days.
We divided in two groups and we
all got to go out in a boat and get a tour of the water. We were supposed to be on a coal powered
boat, but that one was in maintenance for repairs.
After we all got back together,
we went to Latitude 41 for dinner. It
was a great buffet, but Stan did not like ANY of it. Of course, Bev doesn’t find much that she
doesn’t like. We had fish, chicken, mashed
potatoes, fresh green beans, salad, and apple crisp for dessert.
We went back to the RV Park for
the meeting getting instructions for our drive into New York. We are all pretty apprehensive for that
trip. Yikes.
