Today was a driving day. We have reservations at the Thousand Trails
Preserve in Hershey, Pennsylvania tomorrow, so wanted to get half way. We hadn’t planned ahead, so didn’t have any
reservations. Luckily, we got into the
KOA in Watkins Glen.
It is a good thing we weren’t
thru there the weekend before, since there was the NASCAR race in Watkins
Glen. We drove by the road to the
raceway, but the gates were closed and we didn’t get a chance to see it. Bummer.
Seeing the area, it is hard to believe that this is the location of the
raceway. It is such a rural area, with
not much infrastructure.
